AUXILIARY VERB (সাহায্যকারী ক্রিয়া )
1) present tense: am, is , are, has, have, has been, have been, may, can, may be, can be, may have, can have, may have been, can have been
2)past tense : was, were, had, had been could, would, might, could be, would be, might be, could have, would have, might have, could have been, would have been, might have been
3) Future tense :shall, will, shall be, will be, shall have, will have, shall have been , will have been
4) should must ought to, need , do , dare etc
PRESENT TENSE: (বতর্মান কাল )
1) Present Indefinite tense
i) Auxiliary verb absent
ii) Verb in 1st form
iii) If verb finished with s or es
Ex 1) I eat rice
2) He goes to school
2) Present continuous tense
i) Is / am / are+ m.v + ing
1) 1) I am going to school
2) he is writing a letter
3) Present perfect tense
i) has/ have+ 3rd form ( m,v)
EX 1) He has done the work
2) She has gone to School
4) Present perfect continuous tense
1) has / have+ been + m.v+ ing
Ex-
- We have been studying for three hours.
- I have been watching TV since 7pm.
PAST TENSE ( অতীতকাল )
1) Past Indefinite tense
i) Auxiliary Verb absent
ii) Verb in 2nd form
Ex- 1) I went to school
2)I ate a banana
2) Past Continuous tense
i) Was/ were+ m.v+ ing
Ex- 1) He was going to school
2) She was a singing a song
3)Past perfect tense
i) Had+ m.v + 3rd form
Ex-1) She had gone to school
2) I had done the work
4) Past perfect Continuous tense
i) Had+ been+ m.v+ing
Ex- 1)I had been working at the company for five years when I got the promotion.
2) Martha had been walking three miles a day before she broke her leg.
FUTURE TENSE ( ভবিষৎ কাল )
1) Future Indefinite tense
i) Shall/ will+m.v +1st form
Ex 1) She will go to school
2) I shall do the work
2) Future Continuous tense
i) Shall be/ Will be+ m.v+ ing
Ex- 1)I shall be doing the work
2) She Will be going to school
3) Future Perfect tense
i) Shall have/ Will have + M.v + 3rd form
Ex- 1) I shall have done the work
2) She will have eaten a rice.
4) Future perfect Continuous tense
i) Shall have been/ will have been+ m.v + ing
Ex- 1) At five o'clock, I will have been waiting for thirty minutes
2)When I turn thirty, I will have been playing piano for twenty-one years.
