Ans- Lencho’s crops were ready for harvest. As raindrops would help him in getting a better harvest, resulting in more prosperity, Lencho compares them with new coins.

Ans- The rain changed into a hailstorm. Lencho,s fields were totally destroyed by the hailstorm .
